Frequently asked questions

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. Your free account requires no payment information. You only need to pay when you purchase a Season Pass.

Do you accept Purchase Orders?

Yes. We work with school districts that require PO-based purchasing. Contact us to get started.

What's the difference between Club and Campus?

Both allow teams of up to 3 students. Campus allows unlimited teams per competition, making it ideal for teachers who want their whole class to compete. Club is limited to 1 team per competition.

What programming language do students use?

All competition problems are solved using Java. A solution template is provided to help students get started quickly.

What if I miss the competition window?

Each competition window is fixed, but with 5 competitions across the season there are plenty of opportunities to participate. Previous competition packets remain accessible for practice.

Are results shared across schools?

Yes. After each window closes, regional rankings are published so teams can see how they performed against other schools.
